Estepona Marbella Ojen Ronda and others open their borders
Following the continued reduction in cases per 100,000 more Municipalities (including Marbella and Estepona) have now had their Municipal border closures removed with effective from midnight on Friday.
The Andalusian government experts will meet again on Thursday 4th March to decide what if any other restrictions will be lifted.
The Tourism industry was given a shot in the arm last week when UK suggested that the 17th May may be the start of foreign travel. Airlines saw an immediate spike in bookings and Hotels on the Costa reported their first bookings from British tourists.
Furthermore on Wednesday PM Pedro Sanchez said that the government would spend 11 billion euros on helping businesses in tourism, hospitality and commerce.
